Editorial independence
A recommendation enters the catalog only when the person actually made it and the evidence meets our verification standard. Affiliate programs never influence inclusion, removal or display order.
Primary and secondary sources
We prefer the person’s own words. An approved third-party compilation may be used only when clearly identified as secondary evidence and never presented as the original source.
Conflicts of interest
Apart from the disclosed Amazon affiliate commission, we do not accept payment from recommenders, publishers or retailers to include, highlight or remove catalog records.
Affiliate funding
Eligible purchases after an Amazon link may generate a commission at no added cost to the reader. Prices appear only on the retailer’s site and never determine our editorial choices.
Corrections and removals
Confirmed errors are corrected. Records without sufficient evidence are suspended rather than kept online with a weakened or invented claim, and broken sources are reviewed again.
